Power System Services is a specialist electrical engineering consultancy. The aim is to provide you with the technical, regulatory and commercial assistance to connect efficiently and economically to the national grid.

Owner

Dr John Nielsen worked in Australia in the Queensland electricity industry for 15 years and was Principal Engineer Sub-transmission Planning & Investigation at Ergon Energy. He was a senior consultant at Hill Michael Associates and GHD for more than 5 years.

John lectured at JCU for more than 10 years across a diverse range of electrical engineering topics.

John has operated Power System Services since 2014.

Qualified

Dr Nielsen is a Chartered Professional Engineer (Fellow of Engineers Australia No. 487859), a Registered Professional Engineer in the Australian States of Queensland (No. 09456) and Victoria (No. PE0010698). He holds a doctorate in electrical engineering.
